New Elements artists Steve Kelly and Katherine Wolf Webb team up for the first time to bring you terraferma. Both artists – Kelly, a North Carolina potter, and Webb, a multi-disciplinary painter and sculptor working out of Acme Art Studios in Wilmington, NC – draw inspiration from nature in both their composition and material. Kelly says of his distinctive ceramic style, “The abstract etchings evoke typographical elements and create surface textures that exaggerate the curves”.
